Front Kick

The front kick is a very simple move that probably isn't used as often as it should be and many times lacks good technique when it is used. Many times, the front kick is performed with a sweeping motion of the leg. This is not good technique because the person across from you can see it coming from a mile away and if they are skilled they will easily be able to block it.

Resistance Training For Better Front Kick Technique

What resistance training with the Myosource Kinetic Bands will do is help the quick twitch muscles in your legs to become stronger, more powerful, and much quicker. In return this allows you to perform the front kick the correct way by lifting the knee straight up very quickly and extending the leg. This is a much more effective kick and your opponent cannot see it coming as easily.

With your knee straight up you can make it a thrust kick or snap kick and adjust your kicks from that position. You can perform all of your kicks and even spar with the Kinetic Bands on.
