Stunt Strap

Our Stunt Straps are designed to help a cheerleader stretch without putting any unnecessary stress on joints.  Stunt Straps are used mainly for helping a cheerleader pull their scorpions and heel stretches.

TO PULL A HEEL STRETCH: Put one foot in a loop and pull the strap up and across your body from the side.

TO PULL A SCORPION: Put one foot in a loop and pull the strap hand over hand above your head.  When the strap starts to get tight, extend your arms straight up above your head.  This motion pulls the leg up for a full stretch instead of directly to the head.

Defrogger

The Defrogger ANKLET is a great tool to promote proper positioning of the legs and upper extremities while performing a standing back handspring or standing back tuck.  By promoting muscle memory the Defrogger ANKLETS help improve leg positioning for all tumbling.  Since they only allow the user to keep their legs tight together, the athlete only learns one position for their legs...TOGETHER!        TRY THESE DRILLS TO IMPROVE JUMPS AND STUNTS

Drill 1:

Perform 2 sets, 10 reps each of the following exercises using one red band in front and one red band in back.

Repeat the sets without the bands.

1. Squats

2. Squat Jumps

3. Lunges

4. Step Ups

Drill 2:

Perform 5 each of the following jumps using either red or green bands. The green bands will allow more range of motion.

Repeat the jumps without the bands.

1. Toe Touch

2. Liberty

3. Herkie
